Über Saferoad RRS GmbH

The history of Saferoad RRS GmbH began with the merger of Bongard GmbH & Co. KG and Lind Verkehrstechnik GmbH to form Bongard & Lind GmbH & Co. KG in 2008. The company produced and installed steel guardrails and noise barriers at the time.
In 2011, the Norwegian Saferoad Group joined as a shareholder. Together, they acquired the Berlin-based competitor Outimex AG and its subsidiaries, resulting in the formation of Saferoad RRS GmbH with headquarters in Weroth, Rhineland Palatinate. Saferoad focused solely on the vehicle restraint systems or steel guardrails business, while the noise protection segment was taken over by the newly established subsidiary Bongard & Lind Noise Protection GmbH & Co. KG.
Today, Saferoad RRS GmbH is one of the leading companies in its field in Germany and Europe. We are a producer of steel guardrails and have our own installation teams that install and repair vehicle restraint systems on highways, rural roads, and commercial areas throughout Germany. In addition, we export our systems throughout Europe and the world. With our work and products, we make an important contribution to road safety and support the "Vision Zero" program.
Saferoad RRS GmbH is certified in ISO 9001 quality management, ISO 14001 environmental management, and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management.
In addition to the headquarters in Weroth, Saferoad RRS GmbH has other branches and subsidiaries throughout Germany and Europe. For more information, please see our locations.
